Does your cellphone tracking work internationally?
Although we have plans to offer an international solution, at this stage Samaritan's location based cellphone tracking is limited to South Africa.

Can my cellphone be tracked without my permission?
Never, we require that you provide us with permission (via sms, from the cellphone to be tracked), during the initial setup phase. Thereafter you can only track your own or children’s phone after you have logged on using your secure username and password.

How accurate is location based cellphone tracking?
Accuracy is primarily dependent on the amount of cells your cellular phone is communicating with. In Sandton City the accuracy is within a couple of metres; outside Beaufort West the accuracy could be within a kilometer or two. When looking for someone, the accuracy required in Sandton is much more than Beaufort West. We will probably locate the cellular phone in both examples in the same time period. Record time!!!

Which cellphone networks can you track?
Cell C are currently working on providing us with the ability to track there subscribers, unfortunately, location based cellphone tracking is currently limited to Vodacom and MTN subscribers.
